About
Where your music lives while you make it.
In Progress keeps the entire history of your music together — one Session per song, every version preserved, credit following the work.
What it is
A Session is the home for a song while it evolves — the Official cut, every file you add, every version you publish, and the full record of how the song changed. Demos, project files, stems, artwork, and release history stay connected to the same work.
You can keep working alone for years and treat In Progress as the source of truth for your music. When you're ready, you can bring people in — invite a producer, open the Session to ideas, or let someone try another direction on a branch.
How a Session works
Start with whatever you have — a voice memo, four chords, a beat, a Logic project. Add files as the song grows. Each Official you publish is a preserved checkpoint; nothing gets overwritten when you keep working.
Branches let you explore alternate directions without losing the main version. When someone proposes an idea, you decide what becomes part of the song. When the record is ready, mark it final — that freezes the released cut, lists everyone who played on it, and opens the paths you choose: sell it on In Progress, or send it to Spotify and Apple Music through your distributor.
Who it's for
Solo artists who want one durable home for every version of their songs. Producers, writers, and players who want credit on the work they touch. Listeners who want to follow a song from the first idea to the final master — and contribute when a Session is open to it.
