In Progress, briefly.

In Progress ( inprogress.music) is a collaboration and direct-release platform for unfinished music. Each song lives in a Session: an official cut, every version collaborators submit, and the full history of how the record was made. When a song is done, artists can release it and sell it directly on the platform.

One line: “GitHub for music — without the jargon.”

Longer: “In Progress is where unfinished songs become records. Artists share rough takes, collaborators add versions, every take is heard against the song, and credit follows the work all the way to a final release.”

The product is In Progress — two words, both capitalized, no hyphen. A song's workspace is a Session (capital S). We avoid engineering jargon: versions and official cuts, not commits and pull requests.
