What is In Progress?

In Progress is where every version of a song lives. Every song gets a Session: one home for the Official cut, every file you add, every preserved version, comments pinned to moments in the audio, and the full history of how the record was made.

The core loop

1. Start a Session with whatever you have — a voice memo, a rough bounce, lyrics, or a DAW project. Everything stays connected to the same song.
2. Keep working — publish new Officials, add files, revisit older versions, or try another direction on a branch.
3. When you're ready, bring someone in. Listeners and collaborators can send ideas that sit beside your main version until you decide what belongs in the next Official cut.
4. When the song is done, release it — streamable to everyone, sold directly on the platform, or kept for private distribution.

What makes it different

Nothing is overwritten. Official cuts are immutable, so the History tab always holds every version of the song. The artist stays in control of what becomes official, contributors keep ownership of their private work until they choose to send it, and the finished record carries everyone who shaped it.
