Create your first Session

The three-step setup flow — Session, Share, Review — from rough take to live workspace.

Head to /sessions/new. Setup is three steps, shown in a sidebar: Session, Share, and Review.

Step 1 — Session

This is the song itself. Add your starting music — an audio file, lyrics, a video (audio is extracted for you), a TikTok reference, or a DAW project import. Then fill in the details (title, artist note, genre, tags, BPM) and the look: the cover art editor generates a cover from your audio's waveform, with sleeves, palettes, an optional title badge and short word, or you can upload your own image.

Audio files can be up to 150 MB; source video up to 300 MB. When you add audio you'll check a box confirming you have the rights to use it — see Upload audio for what that means.

Step 2 — Share

Decide who's in the room. Invite people, add initial credits, and set visibility: public Sessions can be found and heard by anyone; private Sessions are only reachable by you and the people you invite.

Step 3 — Review

A summary of everything you set up. Confirming creates the Session and its first official cut (Official v1) in one atomic step — if anything fails, nothing half-exists.

Good to know

  • Setup saves a draft locally as you go — if you close the tab, you can resume where you left off.
  • Free accounts can have up to 3 active private Sessions; Pro removes the limit.
